Popped Up Dead Bait
Popping dead baits up in the right circumstances can vastly improve your results when all else fails. You can at times move or twitch the bait in weed or silty bottoms without fear of it being caught up. The technique greatly improved catches on waters and pits and eliminated the problem of dragging in untold amounts of weed every time the bait was retrieved.
The float's I prefer to use on these occasions are either the Self Cocking Float or Pencil Float.
