Hello , First i would like to say what a cool site . Right i am new to pike fishing went to the tees ( at yarm ) on Sunday with a m8 of mine and we both blanked lol.So was wondering if there is any of you that can help us out so we can get hooked on pike fishing. we were fishing on the fishermans bend ( so we have been told it is called ) this is about 400 yards up from the road bridge. We tried smelt , macrel, sardeans, and some small live bait caught two pegs down.I know theres big pike in there as have seen the pic's of them dont think any one caught as we were the first there and last to leave, one young lad caught a cracking perch (2-11oz) but thats all there was on that day. so if any one can give a couple of novices any hints or tips for the tees or any other places locally (within an hours drive or so) this would be wicked, thanks in advance steve and rich . ps theres a pic of the perch caught on my site in fishing photos www.j3st3rs.com thanks again

Ok bud no doubt l will be there week sunday, its quite popular there the pegs on the bend seem to produce the goods. But theres pike on all that stretch much to the annoyance of the match anglers, so what l say !!!!! They have the right to be there.. Anyway bud keep a eye on the trees it might be me moving about.. Tightlines mate

I fish the tees all the time and manage to catch every time i go as i use sardine with a red food die covering it. I find the best way i catch them is by free lining your dead bait.. want to ask me more about the tees contact me on karle2k6@hotmail.com regards
