My first double figure Zander 12 lb 5oz caught on a fen drain in Norfolk, Sept 1989, on link ledgered eel section to the far bank. Little did we know what was to follow this weekend as seen below.

Tony Ward on the right with the largest Zander of 18 lb 2oz, and me holding one of 15 lb 4oz. Both these fish were caught on float sunken paternostered roach livebaits, again from the same fen drain.

Zander of 16 lb 2oz caught by Mark Vials, on ledgered dace livebait, these fish were caught up in the Norfolk fens on the same weekend, fishing 800 yds apart.

Chris Cairns had a trip on the Cut off channel and caught five zander topped by this cracker of 14lb 2oz just as it began to break light in the morning. All fish fell to ledgered dead baits.
